A: Thanks for reaching out Eric! I wouldn't recommend this cartridge for deer hunting. The hollow point boat tail (HPBT) looks like a bullet that is designed for hunting, but its nose cavity is not in fact designed for terminal expansion. The HPBT's terminal ballistics are equivalent to those of a standard FMJ. I regret that we have not got the soft point or polymer tip 6.5 Grendel ammunition you would want for deer hunting in stock at the moment, but we do update our inventory constantly. I hope you'll check back in again soon!

A: Thanks for reaching out Robert! The answer is absolutely. This round's bullet isn't designed for terminal expansion, but for a small thin-skinned predator like a yote you can bank on the HPBT's impact energy and penetration alone to get the job done with minimal suffering on the animal's part. This is an accurate round as well, so you ought to have no trouble sinking a right bullet into the yote's boiler room.
