If you ever get invited to a home-cooked dinner by a family of prairie dogs, take a piece of advice: Don’t mention Nosler’s Varmageddon line of ammunition during the meal. Prairie dogs would consider that a faux pas equivalent to putting out a cigar on the carpet.

You can see why varmints might be sour about this 6.5 Creedmoor round. Its 90 grain bullet is designed to give a hunter a pancake-flat trajectory, as its ballistically efficient profile and deformation resistant jacket unite for tack driving accuracy. The bullet’s black polymer tip rests on the rim of an exceptionally thin jacket mouth. It cleaves the alloyed lead core apart following the instant of impact, delivering truly explosive terminal performance that kills varmints dead. Coyote, foxes, woodchucks and swamp rats are no more fond of such a bullet than the prairie dogs!

Nosler puts all their loading expertise to full effect in this 6.5 CM round. They use their own precision bottlenecked brass to seat the flat base tipped bullet evenly, and ensure its consistent ballistic performance with a reliable primer and propellant charge.
