You rarely see whitetail, antelope, and black bear all in the same place together. The first two would probably get along alright, but would want nothing to do with the bear. Well, it’s still handy to have 6.5 Creedmoor ammo you could hunt all three with!

This 6.5 Creedmoor round by Winchester features a 140 grain Ballistic Silvertip bullet. The bullet takes its name from its distinctive colored polymer tip, which helps to prevent deformation in the magazine, creates a uniform ballistic coefficient, and rams into the underlying nose cavity on impact to trigger massive expansion.

The rest of the Ballistic Silvertip comes in three layers. On the outside is a black oxide coating, which reduces friction and barrel fouling. In the middle is a contoured jacket that controls more reliable expansion. In the center is a lead core, which is alloyed to increase its strength and resultant weight retention. It all comes together to form an especially accurate and deadly polymer tipped hunting bullet!

This American-made round is loaded with a sensitive Boxer primer and clean burning propellant to give it a stable 2,700 fps muzzle velocity. Winchester’s nickel-plated brass case ought to swim smoothly through any type of action and will become reloadable having done so.
