The world really came together to produce this match grade 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge. It was loaded in the heart of New Mexico by Red Mountain Arsenal, a veteran-owned ammo manufacturer which regularly supplies their military and law enforcement clients in addition to the commercial market. And its bullet is Lapua’s very own Scenar-L, one of the finest long range match bullets in existence.

This round’s 136 grain Scenar-L is an open tip match bullet. It surpasses its predecessor, the original Scenar, by exhibiting even higher standards in terms of its jacket wall concentricity, dimensional uniformity, and weight variation. The Scenar-L’s core conforms perfectly to the interior of its jacket, and its intensely narrow meplat and long boat tail both measurably reduce in-flight drag. So great is the Scenar-L’s accuracy that several current long range records have been set with its help.

Do take care that an OTM only superficially resembles a hollow point; the Scenar-L is unable to expand inside its target.

Red Mountain Arsenal imports Scenar-L bullets so they can complete them with perfectly matched primers and propellant, as well as meticulously seat them in premium brass cases. As far as American-loaded long-distance cartridges go, this 6.5 CM really hits the mark.
