Finally, you have found it: true match grade 6.5 Creedmoor varmint hunting ammunition! Shoot prairie dogs from incredibly long distances. Teach woodchucks in neighboring counties that you mean business. Send faraway coyote into early retirement. The power is yours when you chamber Hornady V-Match!

This cartridge demonstrates the air supremacy of the 100 grain ELD-VT projectile. Like the ELD before it, it features a Heat Shield polymer tip that cannot deform while it is cooked by aerodynamic heating, as well as an Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket that does not contain significant irregularities in its concentricity. Unlike the ELD or ELD-X, the ELD-VT is designed to tear itself apart the instant it plunges through thin hide. Once impact drives the polymer tip through the underlying air gap and into the ELD-VT’s rearward-situated lead core, dramatic fragmentation ensues. Surefire death for small game!

This round’s 3,200 fps muzzle velocity and 0.448 G1/0.266 G7 ballistic coefficient were recorded with a 24” barrel. Zero in on a varmint 300 yards away and prepare to bear witness to a trajectory that doesn’t rise higher than 3.9” above the bore line. That kind of trajectory is worth beholding even if you’re just shooting targets!
