Are you worried about how you would defend yourself if you were ever accosted by a medium-sized dinosaur? That’s reasonable! And it’s also the only reason you need to invest in this mighty powerful 500 S&W Magnum ammunition by Underwood, which was developed in partnership with Kentucky Ballistics!

This cartridge is loaded with a 600 grain hard cast projectile: a tough cylinder of heavily alloyed lead that will not flatten down or become distorted when it smashes into its target. Its flat nose profile does all the damage the bullet needs in order to anchor any North American game in an instant. We recommend the bullet for self-defense, but only when you’re defending yourself against a majorly ticked off bear, boar or Bullwinkle.

This round’s bullet is surrounded in green polymer. It looks neat – but more importantly, it will prevent the hard cast bullet from wearing down your revolver’s rifling. Underwood’s low-flash propellant provides added assurance that firing at nighttime won’t blind you. Their nickel-plated brass cases are extra resistant to corrosion, as well as low friction to promote smoother operation.
