This round is loaded with a 350 grain full metal jacket. That’s a big surly lead core with a solid gilding metal jacket, and no metals that could attract a magnet. This round’s bullet cannot expand, as it lacks a nose cavity, soft point or other feature which forces deformation in response to resistance from soft tissues. As such we’re only billing this as range ammo. That said, the FMJ’s flat point does inflict considerably greater damage to soft tissues than an analogous round nose profile FMJ. If you land one of these outrageously powerful revolver bullets in a boar’s sweet spot, then Porky is going down for the count for sure.
