How do you feel about 5.56x45mm ammunition that's been produced to strict military specs? How about 5.56 ammo that's been packaged to last years and years in storage? How about cheap 5.56x45mm NATO ammo? Pretty interested, right? Well, you're in luck! We had the opportunity to buy some mil-spec 5.56x45mm 55 grain FMJ-BT ammo CBC had previously sold to the the Singapore Armed Forces. This ammo was manufactured sometime between 2000 and 2005.

These 5.56x45mm NATO rounds come packaged in a mil-spec M2A1 ammo can (aka 50 cal ammo can) and inside that can are packed in 200 round sealed poly-plastic bags with desiccant in order to fully fight against any possible corrosion.

Q: Are these rounds loaded on stripper clips or are they free in the boxes?

A: These rounds are packed in 200 round sealed poly-plastic bags with desiccant in order to fully fight against any possible corrosion. If you click on the pictures, you can see the interior package inside of the ammo can.

Q: Is this round equivalent to xm193?

A: Hello Rodger, This ammunition is equivalent to the 55 grain XM193 round. It features a standard lead core, copper jacketed 55 grain FMJ projectile.

Q: What is the FPS for this.

A: Hello Pat, Magtech lists the muzzle velocity of this round at 3265 fps.
