Want to hit your target dead center with every trigger pull? Then you have two options. First is to stand about three feet away from your target. You’ll look silly, but you’ll get results. Second is to invest in some true competition grade ammunition – like none other than this here 5.56x45 by Grizzly Cartridge Company of Oregon!

Don’t mistake the open tip match for some kind of hunting projectile. The OTM does have a nose cavity, but only because its thin jacket was drawn first and subsequently filled up with molten lead. Once everything hardens inside of it, the OTM has the form-fitted core it needs to attain marvelous in-flight stability. The bullet’s 77 grain weight contributes a great deal to its accuracy as well. So massive a bullet isn’t easily pushed around by wind, which’ll do you plenty of favors if you’re locking in several hundred yards downrange.

Grizzly loads primo materiel: exquisite brass cases, clean-burning powder, and intensely reliable primers all around. You’ll definitely want to make sure this ammo’s brass gets handloaded one way or another. Optimal barrel twist: 1:6, 1:7 or 1:8”.
