Black Hills is one of America’s best ammo manufacturers, whose clients include all branches our Armed Forces as well as dozens of reputable firearm companies worldwide. And Black Hills often engages one of America’s best bullet manufacturers – Hornady – when they want to load exceptional 5.56x45 hunting ammunition!

This cartridge wallops game over long distances with the power of the 70 grain GMX projectile. The all-copper bullet can’t foul a barrel with lead – not can it contaminate meat with heavy metal, either. The GMX keeps a bore even cleaner courtesy of its dual pressure-relieving grooves, and its sharp meplat and boat tail both enhance the amount of energy it can transfer to its target at any range.

The GMX becomes brutal as it unleashes rapid termina expansion within soft tissue. The copper bullet is also far too tough to lose more than 5% of its weight as it penetrates deeply while expanding up to 1.5 times in diameter.

Black Hills respects Hornady’s GMX by partnering it with premium brass, non-corrosive primers and clean-burning propellant. This round’s 2,800 fps muzzle velocity was recorded out of a 20” barrel.
