This is not a whole case of ammunition. Winchester USA VALOR is actually packaged ten boxes to a case. When you order the ammo on this page, you receive eight separate boxes – 125 rounds apiece!

Winchester USA VALOR series ammo does many things. It pays tribute to Winchester’s proud military history. It supports Folds of Honor, a non-profit organization which provides scholarships to family of our injured and fallen soldiers. Finally, it gives you great 5.56x45 M855 ammo for target shooting (and possibly home defense) with your AR-style rifle or any other compatible firearm.

If you’re unfamiliar with M855 spec 5.56, then the first thing you have to know about the bullet is that it will attract a magnet. The front half of the FMJ bullet’s core is made of pure steel, which hardens it enough to ensure crisp and clean penetration of urban barriers as tough as car doors. When fully stabilized by a 1:9 or 1:8 twist barrel, the 62 grain penetrator FMJ exhibits even better downrange accuracy than a M193 round’s lighter 55 grain FMJ. The M855 bullet may even break in half during penetration of soft tissue to track two discrete wound channels!

This is milspec ammo – not milsurp. It is accordingly loaded with sturdy heat-treated brass cases and non-corrosive Boxer primers. Note that this American-made ammo’s cases are cosmetically discolored during normal production and are not reloaded.
