A: Thanks for pointing that out to me! You shouldn't experience accuracy issues with a 1:9 twist barrel. I've updated the product description to reflect that.

A: Thanks for reaching out Doug! A 1:7 twist will provide adequate stability to a 62 grain bullet for target shooting and self-defense. You would experience the best accuracy with a 1:9 or 1:8 twist, but there's no safety issue with your barrel and you're still going to hit your targets.

A: Personally, no sir. But I must still advise against firing 5.56 in a rifle that is chambered for 223.

A: Yes sir, you're good to go! That rifle's stock barrel has a 1:9 twist, which will properly stabilize a 62 grain bullet for more accurate flight.
