Lahab Light Ammunition was founded in the United Arab Emirates in 1994, and it remains the Middle Eastern country’s sole small arms ammo producer to this day. They supply ammo to law enforcement agencies, national militaries and the civilian market across the globe. Lahab’s 5.56x45 62 grain FMJ M855 ammunition meets both NATO and MIL-STD standards, and it makes a fine choice for any kind of target practice you and your AR-style rifle could get up to.

This is M855 ammunition. Its bullets contain steel and will attract a magnet. The FMJ projectile does not wear any green paint, but it still contains a seven grain steel penetrator tip beneath the tip of its jacket. Its steel tip hardens the front of the bullet so it can pass more reliably through barriers, including sheet metal. The 62 grain bullet will achieve satisfactory rotational stability if it is fired through a barrel with a 1:7”, 1:8” or 1:9” rate of twist.

Lahab exclusively loads noncorrosive Boxer primed ammunition with new brass cases. Some shooters interpret a military-grade case’s silver-colored neck as evidence that it has been previously fired and reloaded. In fact, the case simply was not polished after its brass was strengthened via heat treatment.

This ammo comes packaged in a steel ammo can, complete with a rubber-gasketed lid and strong latch that seals out humidity. A good choice for long-term storage or traversing inhospitable terrain!
