No other ammo manufacturer has been in business as long as Sellier & Bellot has. Founded by Louis Sellier in 1825, the Czech company began producing 10 million rounds of ammo annually by the year 1870. Today they make three million rounds daily!

As an M193, this is the elemental 5.56x45 cartridge most commonly issued for field use with the M16 rifle. It is an optimal choice for range training and target exercises with any AR-15 that is chambered for 5.56. The round’s 55 grain bullet has a slightly faster muzzle velocity than usual – 3,301 fps, which means it’s still going over twice the speed of sound past 290 yards. This bullet’s flat trajectory is further assured by its evenly distributed lead core and precision formed copper-zinc alloy jacket. Do note that its FMJ makes this bullet non-expanding, although that certainly hasn’t stopped the M193 from neutralizing countless threats to Americans’ safety in the past.

Sellier & Bellot exclusively loads their ammo with new production brass cases. Each round’s supple case will serve well to keep your rifle’s action cleaner following ignition, and extract freely once fired. Save this brass even if you don’t handload – you’ll want it handy in case you start one day, or need something of value to trade with. Each round in this case further features a non-corrosive Boxer primer and payload of very clean burning propellant.
