The United Arab Emirates hasn’t just got the world’s tallest building. The Middle Eastern country also has Lahab Light Ammunition, which produces small arms ammo in accordance with MIL-STD, NATO and CIP specifications. This is Lahab’s 5.56x45 55 grain full metal jacket ammunition: simple, proven, and appropriate for target shooting with any AR-style rifle.

Foreign manufacturers typically don’t load magnetic projectiles (unless specifications require otherwise, or those manufacturers are Russian). These cartridges’ bullets contain no steel will pass a magnet test. Each FMJ has a cannelure around its midsection that stops recoil from shifting the bullet out of its seating, a solid lead core, and no features that would enable terminal expansion during penetration.

Lahab creates virgin brass reloadable cases. Like most military-grade cases, the brass is not polished after it is annealed for added strength. The discoloration you see on their necks does not mean the new cases are reloaded. These cartridges’ noncorrosive Boxer primers and smokeless, low-fouling propellant are just what you should expect from a major ammo producer.
