Are you going to sharpen your aim on steel targets? Is your outdoor range perfect save for the presence of rocks in its backdrop? Do you spend a lot of time haunting an indoor range with concrete block walls? In all of these situations a traditional FMJ bullet could ricochet back at you, or even bombard you with shards of copper and lead. You don’t want that. What you do want is SinterFire ammunition.

This 5.56x45 cartridge features SinterFire’s 45 grain frangible bullet. It’s made entirely out of heat-treated copper and tin particles, so it responds to high velocity contact with a solid surface by instantly disintegrating. This pretty much does away with the danger of a ricochet, making this ammo especially indispensable for CQC training.

SinterFire’s frangible bullet is also 100 percent lead-free. That’s crucial, because it prevents the bullet from scattering poison dust into your oxygen while you’re training indoors. It’ll keep your lungs pink and your face unscarred – pretty handy stuff!

SinterFire gives their Reduced Hazard Ammunition top notch components at their factory in Kersey, Pennsylvania. This round’s primer and propellant both ignite clean, so your AR-15’s barrel will retain its ability to properly stabilize bullets. Their brass cases are also brand new. They may look like they’ve already been fired, but their necks are only discolored because they have been heat-treated for superior durability. Finally, a SinterFire bullet’s unique nose profile will help you avoid mistaking it for your regular FMJ loads!
