A: If your Mini-14 is rated to fire 5.56, it will love this ammo. If it's designed only to handle the lesser chamber pressure of an identically sized yet less powerful 223 Rem, it will not. We believe the Target Rifle model isn't rated for 5.56 NATO, but you'll want to consult your rifle's operator's manual or consult the manufacturer to determine that definitievely.

A: This particular round is lead core, but does contain the steel penetrator in it. This round will fail a magnet test and is generally not accepted at indoor ranges nor ranges with steel targets.
