This ammunition comes straight out of the nation Azerbaijan – a country that used to be part of the Soviet Union, and which still specializes in the same loading practices which make Russian ammo so affordable.
First and foremost, this ammo is loaded with bimetal-jacketed full metal jacket projectiles. The jacket wears a very thin copper-washed exterior; beneath that lies a layer of soft steel. Bimetal-jacketed FMJs will attract a magnet – take note, because more than a couple indoor ranges don’t allow such bullets inside.
This ammo is loaded with steel cases: extremely economical, and capable of reliable functionality in any rifle that will chamber them, yet wholly unsuited for handloading. Tela Impex is an American importer, and they shipped this ammo in very recently. That means you can trust its Berdan primers to not corrode your firearm.
