Each cartridge in this bulk case has a 250 grain lead round nose (LRN) bullet. The shape of the LRN will leave distinctive round holes in your paper targets. When firing from a 5" barrel, these bullets leave the muzzle at 830 fps with 344 ft/lb of energy. Remington loads the new-production brass casings of these cartridges with their Kleanbore Primers that will not rust out your barrel.

Q: What is the difference between regular colt 45 and long colt

A: Great question, Leonard! The 45 Colt, 45 Long Colt, and 45 LC are all one and the same cartridge. Some people prefer to include "Long" in the cartridge's name to differentiate it from the 45 Automatic Colt Pistol (ACP) cartride, which it is different from.

Q: The box states a muzzle velocity of 830 fps and the "Overview" states it as 750 fps - which is correct?
