Some people may think that shooters who insist on quality and a low price tag have unreasonable demands. Those people simply haven’t heard of Military Ballistics Industries yet. Founded in 2009, MBI sources the finest components other manufacturers have to offer and employs state of the industry loading protocol to create affordable, reliable ammo.

While MBI is arguably better known for the reloads they craft with used brass casings, they’re certainly no stranger to new production brass, either. This 45 Long Colt ammo has just such casings, so you can reload it yourself for as long as you see fit.

This cartridge features its caliber’s original 250 grain projectile. With its full metal jacket it will keep your revolver’s bore cleaner longer, and with its flat nose the bullet is especially capable of cutting a clean hole through a paper target. Its profile makes it easier to sink into a chamber than a full wadcutter, too.

Precisely which components MBI used to create these rounds is uncertain -- they do frequently source primers from CCI and Winchester, just to give you an idea of the kind of components they deal with. This ammo is packaged in sturdy plastic bags, just one more way MBI cuts costs without impacting their end product’s quality.
