Q: I have a Remington 1858 .44 that has the 45lc/45scholfied conversion cylinder in it will this ammo work in it

I cannot promise exactly when we'll get a certain type of ammunition back in stock, and we don't have a system in place to alert our customers when we do get ammo back in stock. Q: I believe I know the answer but will this work in my uberti 44 with a Howell 45 conversion? And is this a black powder cartridge or smokeless?

A: Hi Stephen! If your conversion cylinder is the Uberti 1847 Walker 45LC/45 Schofield model, then this ammo should be compatible with it. American Cowboy uses modern, smokeless propellant.

A: Hello, Sebastian! If your cylinder has effectively converted your handgun into a weapon chambered for .44 caliber, then no. This round's bullet is 0.451" in diameter, not 0.429".
