A: Thanks for reaching out John! Glock's 45 ACP pistol is rated for 45 ACP +P ammo as well. Just take care that overpressure ammo will wear out your G30's moving parts faster. That's not a problem as far as self-defense is concerned, but you wouldn't want to do a lot of training with ammo like this.

A: Thanks for reaching out Tristan! An aluminum frame isn't as durable as a steel one. It's more susceptable to damage, which is why it's generally advised not to fire overpressure ammo in an aluminum framed 1911. In all honesty your 1911 will probably be fine firing this ammo whenever you need it for self-defense (which is hopefully never, obviously), but I'd recommend not training extensively with it or anything.
If you'd like some really good 45 ACP ammo for self-defense, then I'd highly recommend police-grade Federal Premium HST. This ammo is loaded to standard specs and doesn't threat harm to your pistol:
