A: No sir, this ammo doesn't come packaged in an ammo can. It's 50 rounds per box, 20 boxes per cardboard case. We do offer ammo cans for sale if you would care to purchase one separately: https://www.luckygunner.com/accessories/ammo-cans

A: Thanks for reaching out Edwin! This is fundamentally the same ammo that the U.S. Army would have issued for combat with the M1911. That said, you want to steer clear of FMJ ammo when it comes to self-defense. The FMJ is incapable of terminal expansion (i.e. getting wider as it penetrates soft tissue). Terminal expansion serves three important purposes: It helps the bullet gouge a wider and more injurious wound cavity into its target, it helps the bullet exert more of its energy outward instead of merely forward, and it reduces the chance of overpenetration that could harm an innocent bystander. Furthermore, because FMJ ammo like this is made for target shooting it tends to be slightly less reliable than ammo which is manufactured for life-or-death situations. You want jacketed hollow point (JHP) ammo for personal protection. You especially want this Federal Premium ammo, which alongside Speer Gold Dot is the most popular solution for law enforcement applications in the United States: luckygunner.com/45-acp-230-gr-jhp-hst-federal-law-enforcement-p45hst2-50-rounds

A: Hi Tom. thanks for reaching out. If we do have a smaller quantity of any product, you will find it listed on the website. Unfortunately at this time we do not have a 500 round deal on the ammo.

A: Hello Rosco!
The Sellier and Bellot .45 ACP is loaded with Large pistol primers. Please be aware that S&B primer pockets are known for being very tight, so they may need to be swaged before loading to ensure uninterrupted performance on any type of progressive press.
