A: Hello Richard! I can't recommend it. Glock explicitly advises against firing a lead, unjacketed bullet through their barrel's polygonal rifling. It is quite likely that you would have feeding issues with an SWC in a G21 as well.

A: Thanks for reaching out Jon! The Taurus Judge is not chambered for 45 ACP (aka 45 Auto) ammunition. It's chambered for 45 Colt (aka 45 Long Colt or 45 LC) cartridges and 410 Bore shotshells. I regret that we haven't currently got 45 Colt in stock. We have got 410 Bore ammo in stock, however:

The shot loads are all suitable for bird hunting. The Hornady slugs will absolutely dominate during a home defense scenario. Our inventory does update frequently, so I hope you'll check back in again soon if you don't see what you want in store!

A: Thanks for reaching out Darrell! We haven't got it in stock at present, but in my opinion the best non-HP 45 ACP self-defense ammo on the market is Black Hills Ammunition's HoneyBadger load. Its solid copper bullet excavates a massive wound cavity within soft tissue without any need for terminal expansion. Instead the grooved bullet scoops up any soft tissue it comes into contact with and then jets it outward high velocity. SWC ammo is suitable for personal protection as well, although I'd advise making certain your 45 can reliably cycle the relatively awkwardly shaped bullet.

A: Thanks for reaching out John! I regret that there's no way to say for certain without testing the ammo out, but I think your estimation does sound perfectly reasonable.

A: Thanks for reaching out William! Safe, yes, although I cannot in good faith guarantee that SWC ammo will feed reliably in your G36. Some types of SWC ammo feed without issue in Glocks, but others present problems. I personally don't expect you should have problems – I just wouldn't like to promise you anything I can't be certain of.

A: Thanks for reaching out Michael! This ammo won't work in your revolver. You want 45 Long Colt (aka 45 Colt or 45 LC), and I regret that we haven't got any in stock for you right now. But we do update our inventory frequently, so I hope you'll check back in again soon!

A: Hi Chester! We've asked Black Hills about their propellant before, and they won't share that info even with us! It's their proprietary secret I'm afraid.
