A: Thanks for reaching out Mark! Your handgun's barrel is only 0.36" longer than the Kahr CW45 we used to attain this round's terminal ballistics data, so I don't expect you'd get too drastically higher a muzzle velocity. I wouldn't guarantee significantly deeper penetration nor wider expansion if you fired this ammo in your handgun.

A: While any 45ACP pistol in good working condition will safely tolerate the +P round, it is usually recommended to shoot a full magazine for testing purposes and should not be fired on a regular basis. Some manufacturers will advise against this practice which may void the warranty. Shooting +P ammo on a regular basis may cause premature wear on normal wear components. Should you decide to shoot +P ammo frequently, inspection of the pistol is highly recommended after every trip to the range.
