A: Thanks for reaching out Jon! I can't guarantee any kind of performance out of a handgun that I haven't seen or tested, but this ammo should function correctly in any 1911.

A: Thanks for reaching out Richard! I'd trust this round for defense against black bear and mountain lions, although personally speaking I'd want something bigger than a 45 Auto to kill the larger specimens of those species. (Naturally you're not going to encounter a grizzly in your neck of the woods unless one escapes from the zoo.) The HoneyBadger will penetrate and expand inside wild game just as efficiently as it would a human threat. It's even able to pierce two layers of sheet metal and still penetrate ballistic gel to a depth of 10". Point I'm making is, if the 45's your handgun of choice then this ammo right here's one of your better picks for bear duty.

A: Thanks for reaching out Keith! This cartridge has a light bullet, true, but is 1,250 fps muzzle is wicked fast for a 45 ACP so it ought to generate similar pressure and recoil to a normal 230 grain load. It should work fine in an RS1, though I regret we haven't got it in stock at present.
