A: Hi Mike! Finally heard back from Bond Arms. They say this ammo is OK to fire in a Cyclops. They advise not choosing 45-70 with a muzzle velocity higher than 1,800 fps.

A: Hello again Chris! This ammo (R4570G1 21459) is indeed safe for modern firearms like yours. Remington produces R4570G 29473 for older firearms.

A: Hello again Steve! I just heard back from Remington. They do not recommend this full-pressure load for a classic Trapdoor. They advise choosing a cartridge with a muzzle velocity no higher than 1,315 fps.

A: The velocity of both rounds is 1390 ft/sec, but there is a difference in the pressure between the two. Make sure you pick the right one for your rifle! Give me a shout and I can help! Ross 800-317-9506

A: Simple answer, yes. You can reload these rounds. The bullets are loaded into Boxer-primed brass casings that are reloadable.
