Bee-a-utiful 45-70 Government ammunition we’ve got in store for you, right here! This all-American cartridge was loaded in the great state of South Carolina by Precision One, and it’s perfect if you want a low-recoil alternative for training and target practice. It’s also engineered for safe use in a Springfield Model 1873 Trapdoor rifle!

We say this round’s great for target practice because it is loaded with a 350 grain flat point bullet. To be sure, it’s just a full metal jacket with a circular meplat that can’t ignite the primer it butts up against in a tubular magazine. The bullet’s 1,350 fps muzzle velocity will give it faster bullet drop compared to that of a hotter modern load, but that’s the price you pay for Trapdoor compatibility. The FMJ features a cannelure that will retain its seating depth, and it is nonmagnetic.

This ammunition is loaded with CCI’s famously dependable Boxer primers, as well as newly minted brass cases. No need to ask – Precision One’s brass is indeed reloadable!
