It’s a crazy world out there, but the revolver at your side provides about 19 ounces of certainty – and far, far more when it’s loaded. Make sure you’ve got the right ammo to cut down a threat as soon as it presents itself. Fill that revolver with SIG’s V-Crown loads!

This 44 Special cartridge features SIG’s preeminent bullet for self-defense. The 200 grain JHP has a stacked hollow point cavity, with internal fissures that ensure it translates more of its available energy into fast, wide, and utterly jarring terminal expansion. The V-Crown bullet’s jacket is skived to promote even more reliable mushrooming, as well as anchored tightly to its lead core via cannelure to prevent fragmentation that makes a wound channel needlessly shallow.

This round’s low flash propellant makes muzzle blast dimmer, preserving your vision if you ever have to empty out a cylinder in the nighttime. Its brass case is plated with nickel that facilitates faster extraction and reloading, and which also combats gradual corrosion. And remember: 44 Special ammo works great in a 44 Magnum as well! (But never the other way around.)
