It’s nothing too too special – just a box of American-made 44 Special target ammunition! 44 Special ammo is becoming increasingly harder to find. If you’ve got a revolver specifically chambered for it, then you won’t want to pass on an opportunity to stock up. The 44 Special is equally awesome if you have a handgun or rifle chambered for 44 Magnum and want something lower-priced and lower-recoil to train with. That’s right, we said “rifle” – this ammo’s flat nose profiles make it safe for a Henry or other lever gun!

These rounds’ full metal jacket bullets weigh 200 grains apiece, so they’re set to achieve an average muzzle velocity of 850 fps. The FMJ won’t expand if it winds up hitting an immediate threat to your safety, although its flat nose profile would wind up doing more damage to said threat’s soft tissues than any round nose profile FMJ. Precision One loads the good components: nonmagnetic bullets, noncorrosive Boxer primers, and brass cases that you’ll absolutely want to save for use as handloading components.
