We’re fully in favor of the right to bear arms. But what if you want to bear arms … against bears? Well, we’re in favor of that too, which is why we’re pleased to offer this fine 44 Magnum ammunition by none other than Grizzly Cartridge Company of Oregon!

Whether you use this ammo for bear defense or medium game hunting, you can trust its 300 grain hard cast wide flat nose gas check projectile to dig out an especially deep wound column. The projectile is made of richly alloyed lead that is just too hard to deform as it races through the target. Its wide flat nose profile doesn’t need terminal expansion to inflict a gaping wound. And thanks to its gas check, the bullet doesn’t allow propellant gasses to escape around its base during ignition. That ensures the bullet flies out the muzzle as fast as it can – without exceeding SAAMI standard chamber pressure.

Take care that this isn’t conventional self-defense ammo. Its hard cast WFNGC will inflict massive trauma, but the bullet’s all-penetration terminal performance is pretty much guaranteed to lead to over-penetration that could jeopardize innocent bystanders.
