Anyone can fire a 44 Magnum to put an enormous hole where there wasn’t one before. Only an experienced marksman can use the brawny round to put that hole precisely where they’d like it – hence the value of practice.

This 44 Magnum ammo is made by Federal under their Champion label. Although still in every way reliable and potent, a Champion round is also cost-effective. That means you may train with this case of ammo without breaking the bank if you wish.

And once you’ve sharpened your skills on paper targets, you’ll be ready to put this round’s bullet to full use. At 240 grains and loaded to a muzzle velocity of 1,230 fps, it transfers simply staggering energy – 806 ft lbs, enough to send a giant reeling. What’s more, as a jacketed hollow point this bullet is at once optimized to penetrate barriers and soft tissue as well as let loose massive expansion within said soft tissue. Few other revolver cartridges can deliver so much damage, and you may not wish to deal with their horse kick recoil.

Some Champion rounds feature aluminum cases, but not these. Each round’s brass case houses a non-corrosive primer to prevent your big iron from rusting over, as well as charge of clean burning propellant that preserves accuracy. And unlike aluminum, this round’s brass case presents the opportunity to reload every time it’s emptied.

A correct choice for lever-action rifles as well!
