CCI's Big 4 44 Spl/Mag ammunition is loaded with #4 lead shot making it ideally suited for varmints and snakes. Each cartridge has a plastic capsule that houses the lead shot in place of where the bullet would normally sit. When the weapon is fired the capsule shatters, sending a cloud of varmint-shredding #4 lead shot out the barrel. This ammo is loaded to the shorter 44 Special cartridge length so it will work in either a 44 Spl or 44 mag revolver.
