Goodness gracious! This must be the weakest 410 Bore ammo we’ve ever offered for sale! If you added up its entire half-ounce column of #9 shot’s combined muzzle energy, it would equal just 205 ft lbs. That puts this shell’s potential right on par with a powerful 22 LR cartridge!

But with great weakness comes a great benefit: unbelievably quiet performance. Remington Low Decibel ammunition is just the ticket if you’re not trying to wake up the whole neighborhood whenever you cap a squirrel with your trusty 410 Bore shotgun. This would also make interesting target ammo. Its 650 fps muzzle velocity would obviously make skeet considerably harder, but hey – at least you’ll be the quietest guy at the range. People will say “He’s so quiet!” as a compliment for once.

Remington recorded this shell’s muzzle velocity with a shotgun barrel of undisclosed length. Will it work in a Judge or Governor? Abso-poso-lutely. Its muzzle velocity will be even lower out of a revolver, but we still recommend wearing hearing protection regardless. You don’t want to be one of those guys who drives his whole family nuts by watching Tora! Tora! Tora! at full volume when he’s 90.
