Sorry, boyos. If you’re still holding on to dear hope that the 41 Magnum will one day becomes as popular as the 357 or 44, then you’re dreaming. But that certainly doesn’t mean you’re not entitled to premium hunting/defense ammo! And we’ve got just the shiny beauts by Underwood to prove it.

This round is loaded with a 210 grain jacketed hollow point. More specifically, it is loaded with a Hornady eXtreme Terminal Performance, which features a drawn gilding metal jacket over its lead core. The jacket doesn’t merely promote cleaner performance and deeper penetration. It is tapered, and also notched around its rim, which helps it initiate expansion even after impact at lower velocities. The XTP’s jacket also protects its rim, which prevents the bullet from getting too damaged on impact to display its full potential for expansion.

Underwood loads their fine revolver cartridges with reloadable nickel-plated brass cases. Primary benefit: enhanced corrosion resistance, although you may appreciate how smoother nickel facilitates extraction from a cylinder. And if you’re hunting at dusk – or defending at night – then you’re bound to appreciate Underwood’s low-flash propellant as well.
