Hog Hammer ammo nails hogs! This 41 Magnum cartridge by Remington is ready to make any oinker oink its last oink, because it is equipped with the strong and deadly XPB bullet by Barnes.

Hogs have impressively thick hides and layers of fat, but they matter little to this round’s 180 grain XPB. The bullet lacks a jacket and core that could split apart throughout high velocity penetration, and because it is made of solid copper it’s able to sink deeply into so tough a target without losing its weight and momentum.

The XPB is a hollow point bullet with a deep and wide nose cavity. As the bullet meets with hydrostatic resistance it expands to erect six razor-like cutting petals, each of which tracks a deadly injury in its path.

People often ask us if Hog Hammer ammo would also work for self-defense. Undoubtedly – this particular round’s ability to place over 650 ft lbs of energy at 50 yards and then punctuate it with massive terminal expansion makes it as definitive a solution for personal protection as it does hoggin’.

This round’s accurate bullet is seated in a gleaming fresh brass case, with a non-corrosive primer and clean burning propellant. An all-copper bullet also promotes a cleaner barrel throughout a hunting trip!
