A: Let me make a little disclaimer: We are not qualified to dispense legal advice; Nothing you read on LuckyGunner.com is intended to constitute legal advice. That said, I believe this ammo is legal for self-defense in California.

A: Hi Paul. Many police departments have internal policies that require them to use all ammo within a certain time frame from the purchase date. In many cases, departments have been following the trend to go back to the 9mm firearms instead of the .40. Both of these things have increased the stock of 'trade in' ammo. Modern ammo can last for decades in normal conditions with no degradation in performance or quality. That makes this trade in ammo a really great bargain!
Let me know if I can help further in any way.

A: Hey William,
I wish I could give you a definitive answer but I am unsure when we will get more of this particular item back in stock. I will check back with purchasing and see if we can hopefully secure some soon. Please check back with us in a few weeks.

A: Hi Terrance,
I haven't heard anything from Winchester regarding these being discontinued. Our purchasing team is working hard to get a new shipment in.
