The .40 S&W cartridge is accurate and powerful, but requires some practice to handle effectively to master due to its strong recoil--practice you're sure to get with this volume priced 1,000 round case of ammunition from Fiocchi.

These economical full metal jacket rounds fire a light 165 grain bullet at a muzzle velocity of 1,020 feet per second and handle similarly to many popular carry loads with the obvious exception of the bullet type. Thanks to the flat-headed nature of .40 Smith & Wesson projectiles, these rounds will produce nice round holes in paper targets.

Fiocchi has been in the ammo business since the 1870s as a family owned private company based in Lecco, Italy. Fiocchi of America is based in Ozark, Missouri and manufactures most Fiocchi ammo sold in the US. Wherever they are made, Fiocchi cartridges use non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases and are regarded as both cost-effective and reliable.
