This 40 S&W ammunition by Fort Scott Munitions of Kansas takes a different approach to self-defense. Its bullet doesn’t expand at all! Instead it tumbles around to inflict a devastating wound cavity as the bullet continuously rakes its sharp, hard tip against soft tissue.

The 125 grain Tumble Upon Impact (TUI) is a solid copper projectile, which confers a number of benefits to performance. It can’t foul up a barrel with accuracy-weakening lead residue. It’s exceptionally accurate without any variances in its weight distribution. It’s resilient enough to avoid significant fragmentation, which in turn facilitates barrier penetration while preserving the momentum required for deep penetration. But because the TUI tumbles around, it also slows itself down enough while penetrating soft tissue to reduce the chance of overpenetration.

This round’s match accurate precision machined monolithic bullet is loaded according to exacting standards, with the premium brass, primer and powder it needs to promote optimal functionality in any semi-automatic firearm. Just take care that this round’s bullet poses a high risk of ricochet when it strikes a hard surface such as a steel target!
