Load up your .380 Auto pocket pistol with these premium Ruger ARX defense rounds made by PolyCase. ARX bullets use their twisting, fluted cuts to impart their energy sideways while traveling in a target similar to a boat's rotor twisting in the water. This creates wide wound channels like hollow points while also cutting the risk of over penetration and clogging with heavy clothing material.

PolyCase, a veteran owned company with over sixty years of experience working with polymers, has partnered with Ruger to make revolutionary defense round. It's not only the copper/polymer bullets that are unique, but the production process which wastes no metal and little water while the lead-free ARX rounds are created. While the bullets are of an all-new design, the rest of the cartridge is made from a conventional brass casing and a non-corrosive Boxer primer.

Aside from the fluted cuts, the rest of the ARX bullet is shaped like a conventional FMJ round which helps even the lightest 56 grain bullet penetrate through intermediate drywall and clothing barriers. The 56 grain bullet is lighter than most .380 rounds, but travels faster at a flatter trajectory in order to improve terminal ballistics and accuracy. The lightweight bullet also helps lower felt recoil which is great for small pocket pistols with small grip surfaces.
