This cartridge’s 50 grain bullet weighs about 45% less than the average 380 JHP. That’s because it’s made of solid copper – a metal which isn’t nearly as dense as lead. Without building up unsafe chamber pressure, the SCHP rockets out of the barrel at 1,500 feet per second. Enormous striking energy, incoming! Once it hits soft tissue, the barrier-resistant bullet’s open cavity fills up with soft tissue and ruptures apart in a starburst pattern. Deep penetration. Multiple separate wound channels. Reduced risk of over-penetration. Effective for self-defense in every way.
This ammo’s cases aren’t nickel-plated. They are made of nickel alloy, which is significantly tougher than brass but only half as heavy. And thanks to its low-recoil performance, Liberty Ultra Light makes it easier to keep your sights trained on the target: a great advantage if the target means to end your very existence.
