The name Norma brings one of two things to mind. The first is the kind of older lady who always comes to church suppers with sweet potato and marshmallow casserole. The second is Sweden’s greatest ammo manufacturer. We don’t sell casserole here on Lucky Gunner, so we hope you’ll be happy with this 380 ACP ammo.

This is the ammo you use when nothing is actively trying to hurt you. Norma’s Range & Training line of ammunition offers good, consistent ballistics while you’re learning to master the performance of a pocket handgun. This round’s 95 grain bullet is loaded to the same pressure and muzzle velocity as a typical self-defense load, so you’ll experience a similar recoil force and trajectory as you would with your JHP ammo. The bullet itself is a full metal jacket, which won’t expand after it lands in something soft and squishy.

Norma’s nonmagnetic bullet is paired up with a new production brass case, so no ranges are going to tell you that you can’t use this ammo there. The Swedish manufacturer’s non-corrosive primers and modern propellant act to mitigate carbon fouling in a handgun.
