The FMJ’s steel-free core and jacket make it fully complaint at ranges which prohibit nonmagnetic ammo, and its flat nose carves a pretty clean hole through a hanging target. The cartridge’s brass case wears nickel plating that reduces friction as it cycles through a semi-automatic, and also protects the brass against corrosion. Its noncorrosive Boxer primer means the case has a single flash hole and is suitable for handloading.
