I can certainly understand wanting to get the best ammo you can to protect your wife or any family member. The Federal LE rounds you asked about would be a great choice for the 38 special bodyguard with one caveat.
The rounds you were looking at are "+P" rounds, which means they are loaded to a higher pressure than normal 38 special rounds. While many shooters still like to rely on +P in their firearms for self-defense, odds are your S&W Bodyguard specifically says not to use +P ammunition because it can lead to problems and excess wear-and-tear on your firearm. These specific rounds are designed for law enforcement and are an awesome choice for protection.
It's a personal call you'll have to make. If you decide you want to go in a different direction, Federal makes a low-recoil round that is a little lighter at 110 grain, but would still be a good choice for self-defense. You can find that round here:
