PMC is the South Korean military’s chief ammo supplier. They came up with a cost-effective way of keeping ammunition safe against moisture: “battle packs,” which are nothing more than sealed plastic sleeves. When you order this case of 38 Special ammunition, you get three battle packs, each of which stores six 50-round boxes.

PMC exclusively loads nonmagnetic full metal jacket pistol bullets, so you can confidently take this ammo to ranges that ban “magnetic ammo.” The lead-core copper-jacket projectile weighs 132 grains, which is light enough to achieve a muzzle velocity of 917 without generating excessive chamber pressure. Antique 38 Special revolvers can handle this ammo (provided that they are in functional condition), as can all 357 Magnum revolvers.

The South Korean military has no need for 38 Special ammo. In other words, this is brand new ammo that was specifically manufactured for the commercial market. PMC mints all of their brass cases in-house using their own state-of-the-industry machinery. They are outfitted with noncorrosive Boxer primers and clean-burning propellant, and they are reloadable.
