The Assured Stopping Power is not a totally unusual jacketed hollow point. Its steel-free jacket and lead core’s nose cavity team up to produce reliably harmful expansion. But because the nose and mouth of the copper jacket both wear notches (aka skives), the bullet is that much more able to initiate the quick expansion which simultaneously maximizes trauma and reduces over-penetration. High energy transfer – less risk to bystanders!
