This affordable .357 Magnum "white box" ammunition from Winchester is well suited for a variety of purposes including hunting, self-defense, and target shooting. Each cartridge fires an extra-light 110 grain jacketed hollow point bullet at a high muzzle velocity of 1,295 feet per second (more in long guns). The lighter bullet and high velocity help these rounds achieve more reliable expansion. Each case contains 500 rounds divided into 10 boxes of 50.

Although most closely identified with the self-defense role, inexpensive hollow points like these also serve well for close-range hunting (for obvious reasons) and for target shooting. Their flat-headed profile produces holes in paper similar to semi-wadcutters for better visibility from the firing line.

Winchester has produced ammo since the 19th century. A relatively unknown fact about the Winchester company is that its area of expertise is producing quality ammunition rather than Winchester branded firearms, which are made under license agreements by other manufacturers. Like most American-made ammunition, Winchester cartridges use non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass cases.
