The 357 Magnum is responsible for giving a lot of people a condition we like to call “revolver fever.” (We’re pretty creative, we know.) The condition cannot be cured. It can only be treated. And we’ve got your treatment right here, pal!

Ammo Inc. loads this ammo in Wisconsin with 158 grain total metal jacket projectiles. They’re nice and heavy, so they’ll give you a good feel for any analogous hunting loads you might also enjoy firing. Now, the total metal jacket is pretty much identical to the full metal jacket save for one little detail: Its lead core’s base is sealed away by its jacket. That provides two primary advantages. First, the bullet won’t emit lead vapor while it runs through your barrel, which will keep your breathing air nontoxic. Second, the TMJ also slows the rate of barrel fouling so your firearm can remain more accurate with fewer cleanings.

Ammo Inc.’s proprietary Hyperclean Technology similarly promotes cleaner overall performance. Their brass cases are strong and true, and certainly worth pocketing if you know how to handload. Safe for lever-action rifles!
