The 350 Legend is designed specifically for hunting deer. Federal’s Non-Typical line of ammunition is designed specifically for hunting deer. It is entirely possible that you yourself are designed specifically for hunting deer – people have hunted deer for a very long time, after all.

This 350 Legend cartridge features a 180 grain soft point bullet. A time-tested design, a soft point’s hard jacket strengthens it for deep penetration while its soft core enables it to excavate a particularly devastating wound channel. The bullet is streamlined enough to retain about 925 ft lbs of energy at 200 yards, which in the hands of a capable hunter (such as yourself) ought to prove more than enough to put down a whitetail with barely any awareness of the fact on the whitetail’s part. At that point you’ll have bought your first class ticket to tenderloin city.

Federal’s new brass case is straight as an arrow, and their primer and propellant are both formulated to ignite on demand and cleanly. Federal is an old manufacturer based in Minnesota, a place where city folks argue over whether Dylan or Prince was the better musician and country folks are just glad the city folks mostly stay in the city.
