The local government wouldn’t let you use a 308, 270 or 243 for deer hunting. But that’s not a problem, because you’ve got a secret straight-walled weapon at your disposal: the almighty 350!

Hornady charged up this cartridge with a 150 grain soft point projectile. Of course, calling the InterLock a “soft point” is like calling the ‘71 Plymouth Hemi ‘Cuda a “car.” It is an accurate projectile, with a narrow tip and aerodynamic profile which enhance ballistic efficiency and provides the optimal bearing surface. Aim the 0.233 G1 BC bullet to 200 yards, and elevation at 100 should be a sweet and low 3.4” (assuming 24” barrel and 1.5” high sights).

The InterLock gets truly nasty once it has located its target. That’s when its InterLock ring and cannelure set to work preventing core/jacket separation, and also when its grooved, tapered jacket begins unleashing massive yet controlled terminal expansion. At 200 yards, the bullet still strikes with nearly 950 ft lbs of energy (again, assuming 24” bbl).

Hornady’s Nebraska-made BLACK ammo is fit for service in all makes and models of long guns, regardless of how they operate. Heck, chamber this ammo in an S&W M350 if you so please. You’ll love the way it rides!
